Hi, are axsis moving in standstill position?
Did you check glass scale cables?
Maybe you need to clean glass scales.
Are parameters for machine correct?

Hello,
Thank you Florian for your answer.
Machine serial number is 120137, for e-plan number i will try to find it tomorow.
Kind regards
Hi bfgh!
Thank you for your answer.
My friend bought that machine on machineseeker but it came without parameters and now he is looking for any help how to put it in work.
Didn't know about License code.
I will tell him to try to contact DMG.

Hello,
did you fix your machine?

Hello everybody,
I need parameters for Maho 1200s with Philips CNC 532.
If anyone has any, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,
Thank you for answer.
Problem si that all paramethers are hardcoded, they can not be changed or erased like they are stored in ROM. I dont know how to change them.
Hello again 😊
I have interesting cpu board on one Maho 1000. It have hardcoded parameters(about 150).
My problem is serial comunication , it starts but only 15-20 sentences are reseved and than i got error, also if i try to send from machine it goes for 15 sentences and stop. I try with different communication settings without success. Does anybody know what can be problem, how to solve this? IMG_20220218_205100.jpg
Hello,
I had maho 300 but with philips 432 and fixed table. With my friend we changed it to use some chinese controler AdTech 4640 (philips was dead). We needed to change measuring scales, but everything else keep original. Biggest problem was spindel transmision. I remember motors for gear change died so i used motors from co2 welding machine 😂. I never saw nut damaged like that. If i was on your place i will change that nut and use machine. She look like its new.
Hello,
Reading head and cable are 100% good. Problem is in board, i tried with changing components but with no success. Did anybody have same problem and how did it solve?
Hello i have problem with driver board. When connected glass scale i dont have any readings just like it is not connected(position numbers keep incrementing). Does anyone have schematic of board or have any hint with component might be dead? IMG_20220123_203841.jpg
Thank you for answer. Why ist not than instaled on every Maho, i have six Mahos and only on one is that differential amplifier.
IMG_20220120_215834.jpgHello everybody,
Can you please tell me what is this board for. It is connected on servo amplifier, and input from control is connected to it. All other Mahos that i own dont have that.
For -15V i used -12V from PC power supply. Power on delay is just for clock to stable, power off is critical, because off that i used relay to be connected directly on 220V, and it is most cheapest and easiest to use(everybody have one of those in workshop ). If 5V line shut down before RESET machine parameters will be lost.
Eventually i will make it with connectors and all packet up but here in Serbia nobody sell that connectors they must be imported.

Hey everybody, this is my first post on any forum
I want to share my last project on Maho with you, it is power supply. As we all know most common thing to die on Philips 432 is power supply and spare on is really expensive.
So we have +-15V (for creating +-9V for drives), 12V for Video and measuring system, 5V for all electronic, 5V from battery and 24V for relays.
Perfect candidate for all of this was PC power supply, 12V can be used for 15V, 12V and 24V.
Biggest problem was saving parameters for that is comes RESET signal, on power up reset signal is delayed approximately 200ms, but most important thing is when powering down reset signal shut down first than 5V.
For that i used one time delay relay for reset signal and capacitor on 5V line. Relay is directly connected to 220V and have 0.5s delay on power up, capacitor hold voltage just enough for Reset signal disappear before 5V.
Battery charger is used from original Philips power supply.
Fourth picture is original capacitor from original power supply, same is used.
Fifth picture 5V and reset power on.
Sixth picture reset and 5V power off.
